Final Recap Of production

This is the final recap of my finished production.

Evaluation Conclusion

This concludes the evaluation section of my blog, the combination of these 7 questions cover all of the main topics of from my research and planning and helps to answer any questions about the future of my magazine. The evaluation section has helped me to think deeper into the plans of my magazine such as who will be producing it and also link specific aspects to theories.

Evaluation: Question 7

Evaluation 7 

This section answers the 7th and last question from my evaluation. The question being 'looking back at your preliminary task, what do you think you have learnt from the progression from it to the full product?' here I have answered this question using theories and compared it to my magazine preliminary task.

This answers the 6th question from my evaluation which is - What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product. I have put images of some of the tools that I have used and explained how I used them and how they were helpful.

This is part 2 of my question 5 which includes a member of my target audience talking about what like about my magazine. This gives support to my previous answer to question " how did you attract/address your audience" as it shows how a particular member was addressed directly.

This is my responce to the 5th question of the evaluation section of my production. The 5th question is "How did you attract/address your audience?" I have taken and image of my front cover, double page spread and contents page and explained different componants of it using audience theories.

Evaluation: Question 4

This answers the 4th question of my evaluation which is "Who would be the audience for your media product?" It shows an example of a trait that my target audience has and why I have chosen them to have this particular trait.

 This is my response to the 3rd of my evaluation questions which is " What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?" I have explained this through researching media institutions.

Evaluation: Question 2

This is my response to the second evaluation question which is "How does your media product represent particular social groups?" It shows the different social groups of my target audience and how they have been represented.

Evaluation: Question 1

This is my response to the first of my seven evaluation questions. This question is "In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?" I have in each box compared my magazine to another and either explained how I have conformed to or subverted the normal conventions. Then related it to a theory.

Evaluation Introduction

In this section I will be evaluating all of the stages of my production. I will be explaining why I have chosen to do certain things (such as why I have chosen specific characteristics for my target audience). I will also be explaining what the future plans are for my magazine such as who will be distributing it. Finally to conclude we will see how my skills have developed from my preliminary task and any problems that I uncounted on the way.

Draft 2: Responce to audience feedback

This section shows how I responded to the feedback that was given by my audience, for example they did not like the colour scheme and they suggested that I try the colour red so I changed it.

Draft 1: Audience Feedback.

This shows some of the audience feedback that I received from my magazine front cover and double page spread. I have taken both positive and negative feedback from real people and comprised it together to help me to get a clear understanding of what improvements need to be made.

Costume Code changes.

Before I even took any of my Photos I decided to change the colour of the clothing that my model will wear. This is as it is hard to remove the background from an image when the model is wearing white clothes and also the use of colour would be more visually appealing.

PhotoShop Editing skills This posts shows some of the images that I had chosen previously and explains how I used Photoshop in order to edit. It is complete with before and after images which help to show how my skills have progressed.

Mock Up - Using Existing Photos

This is a mock up of my magazine using existing photos. It is complete with an explanation of why I have chosen to use each element.

Mock Up Draft (Conventions of a Magazine)

This is a mock up of a fake magazine that I made in order to get an idea of how the conventions work when they are put together.

Location

This is a book of all of the locations that I could use for my magazine. In the end I will be choosing the best location in terms of lighting and what will look best for the genre of my magazine.

This is the plan for all of the equipment that I will need for the production of my magazine. This will include cameras and photo studios.
